3G/4G/5G Networks

The mobile experience is expanding everywhere. Mobile networks have changed our lives drastically. Communications services have become a necessary part of daily life to connect consumers with anyone, any application, anytime and anywhere. Network connectivity is the foundation of a great mobile experience and is been driven by 3G, 4G innovation, and upcoming 5G revolution.

3G/4G wireless technologies are deployed on many different networks from single small cells indoor installation all the way to the large outdoor macro networks with thousands of radio access networks nodes. These technologies have gained momentum in the past couple of decades by delivering rich mobile broadband experiences to consumers.

5G is the latest wireless technology and is essential for next-generation mobile experiences. It delivers faster speed like fiber, low latency for real-time applications, consistent performance, and massive capacity for unlimited data.

Conexus provides end-to-end 3G/4G and upcoming 5G network installation and commissioning services for both Radio Access Networks (RAN) and the core network elements for any size deployment from indoor small cells to outdoor greenfield networks. These services include lease entitlement, regulatory approval, architecture design, logistics, program /project management and network upgrades.

Macro / Pico / Micro / Small Cells

A Macrocell is a high powered cellular radio access node that provides large radio coverage served by a high RF output power (10W – 50+W) outdoor cell site (tower, antenna). Macrocells are generally deployed in rural areas, metropolitan, along highways, and any location that needs large coverage.

Picocell and Microcell, Enterprise femtocells and femtocells are categorized as small cells. Small cells are low-powered cellular radio access nodes that operate in licensed and unlicensed spectrum that have a limited range based on their RF output power(<10W).

Small cell solutions have become more popular recently as a way of expanding coverage and increasing network capacity. They are small, compact and installed on existing infrastructure sites like next to macro network radios, telephone poles, and streetlights. They can also be used to increase voice and data capacity indoors like stadiums, theme parks, malls, airports, Bus Stations, train stations, subways, or universities.

Conxeus provides installation and commissioning services for different kind of all kinds of cellular radios for both indoor and outdoor deployments. This Service includes physical installation, integration with core networks, RF engineering, clustering, testing and optimizations services.

Cloud RAN (C-RAN)

Cloud RAN Image

As of exponential growth of global data traffic on mobile network continues, mobile network operators are moving away from traditional wireless architectures, to Cloud/Centralized Radio Access Network architectures (C-RAN). This new C-RAN architecture has two main advantages which are reduction in CAPEX/OPEX for operators, and improved user experience through less interference.

C-RAN decouples base station functions into distributed RRHs (Remote Radio Heads) and centralized BBUs (Baseband Units), which can either be clustered as a BBU pool or operate independently. RRHs connect to BBUs via a fronthaul network., which can be either Common Public Radio Interface (CPRI) or Ethernet. The C-RAN concept has generally been applied to outdoor macro-cells deployment but, it can also be applied to small cells that provide distributed coverage across a large indoor venue.

Conexus provides complete end-to-end C-RAN deployment services for both indoor and outdoor applications. This service includes installation, commissioning, and connecting RRH’s to BBUs via fronthaul network and BBUs to the core via backhaul network, program/project management, RF engineering, testing, and optimizations services.

Distributed Antenna System (DAS)

Our everyday life has become increasingly dependent on wireless voice and data service connectivity for both indoors and outdoors environment. The traditional macro network towers are overloaded with heavy traffic that results in capacity limitation and dropped calls. In building wireless coverage are degraded due to physical glass barriers that can block RF signals. To overcome such obstacles, distributed antenna systems (DAS) have become the ideal solution to meet growing mobile data capacity needs

DAS systems are set of low- and high-powered antennas distributed throughout a building or campus to improve network performance for all wireless carriers both inside and out. DAS systems enable mobile networks operators and venue owners to provide the highest Quality of Service (QoS) to their customers at the most challenging locations.

Conexus provides full turnkey DAS installation and commissioning including RF engineering, testing, and optimizations services.

Enterprise Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi has become an integral part of the wireless landscape with the introduction of the smart device. Wi-Fi is a wireless networking protocol that allows devices to communicate with the internet. It's technically an industry term that represents a type of wireless local area network (LAN) protocol based on the 802.11 IEEE network standard. With wireless LAN technologies and products.

High Density and Enterprise Wi-Fi networks have become an essential part of any IT networks to enable wireless work environment by providing corporate data security, access to corporate applications, seamless voice, video and data services. These networks also provide data off load capability for mobile network operators that result in tremendous CAPEX and OPEX savings.

Conexus provides Enterprise-level Wi-Fi system design, installation and integration with the enterprise IT networks, for both interior and exterior environments – and can be expertly delivered at scale.

Internet of Things (IOT)

The Internet of Things (IoT) is the concept of connecting any physical device to the internet and to other connected devices. The IoT network is a large network of connected devices all of which collect and share data. The forecast is 18 billion IoT devices will be deployed by 2022. Majority of IoT devices will use cellular technology.

Conexus provides IoT device installation and commissioning services that allow seamless integration of these devices into the existing cellular network. This service includes program/project management, RF engineering, testing, and optimizations services.
